Privacy Policy

HourZero ("the app") is operated by Qraiqe ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

No data collection

HourZero has no user accounts, no servers, and no backend. We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your personal data. We do not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs of any kind.

Everything stays on your device

All content you create — journals, check-ins, cravings, achievements, settings, and conversations with the AI companion — is stored only on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

On-device AI

The optional AI companion and personalized content run on a model that executes entirely on your device. Anything you say or write to it is processed locally and never sent anywhere. The app continues to work without an internet connection.

Data you choose to export

You can export your data at any time from within the app. This is the only time your data leaves your device, and it happens solely because you initiated it. Once exported, the file is under your control and this policy no longer governs it.

Microphone & Face ID

If you use voice dictation, audio is transcribed on your device and is not uploaded. If you enable the app lock, Face ID / Touch ID is handled by Apple's system frameworks; we never receive your biometric data.

This website

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server access logs (such as IP address and requested page) for security and operational purposes; these are not used to identify or profile you.

Children

HourZero is not directed at children under 13, and because we collect no data, we do not knowingly process any information from them.

Your rights (GDPR)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our side — your data already lives only with you. You retain full control of it on your device at all times. This policy and the app are provided in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Norwegian law.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page.
